PROTECTING LAND FROM DEFORESTATION
The Rainforest Conservation Foundation has partnered with Queensland National Parks to protect land located within the Daintree Rainforest from deforestation.
This process involves the purchase and reforestation of land before the titles are gifted back to Queensland National Parks for the ongoing management and protection.

Rainforest Conservation Foundation has successfully transferred lands to Queensland National Parks for ongoing management and conservation, ensuring their protection for generations to come.
To date more than 35 hectares (86 acres) of land have been protected and given to Queensland National Parks.

The process has taken some time, but Rainforest Conservation Foundation is working with Queensland National Parks to finalise the transfer of nearly 94 hectares (234 acres) of land to Queensland National Parks, all of which will have National Parks conservation status.
